What is Guardian Angel?
Guardian Angel is a registered non-governmental organization (Registration No. RS 1660, dated 28 October 1991) based in Dimapur, Nagaland. Established in 1991, it works in disability rehabilitation, HIV/AIDS awareness and care, and sustainable community development.
Where does Guardian Angel work?
Our office is at Circular Road, Dimapur, and we work across Dimapur and neighbouring districts of Nagaland, reaching urban wards and rural villages.
Are your services free?
Yes. Our support services for persons with disabilities, people affected by HIV/AIDS and vulnerable families are provided free of charge.
How can I get help for a family member with a disability?
Call us at +91 97036 42210 or email help.guardianangel@outlook.com. We can help with screening and referral, assistive devices, school enrolment, and applying for the UDID card and government schemes.
Is information about HIV status kept confidential?
Absolutely. We never disclose anyone's HIV status or personal information without their informed consent. Confidentiality is a core principle of our work.
Where can I get tested for HIV in Nagaland?
Free and confidential HIV testing is available at government Integrated Counselling and Testing Centres (ICTCs) in district hospitals. Our team can guide and accompany you. You can also call the national helpline 1097.
How can I donate?

Can I volunteer or do an internship?
Yes. We welcome volunteers and interns from social work, health, education and other fields. Use the form on our Get Involved page or email us.
Can companies partner with Guardian Angel for CSR?
We welcome partnerships with companies, foundations and institutions. Please contact us to discuss programme collaboration.
How are donations used?
Donations are used only for our charitable programmes and essential running costs. Our accounts are audited annually and available on request.
