For most of our 35 years, people have found Guardian Angel the old way: through a pastor, a teacher, a neighbour or a health worker who told them about us. That word of mouth is still the heart of how we work. But more and more families, young volunteers and supporters look for information online first, and until now we did not have a proper place for them to find us.
This week we launched guardian-angel.site.
What you will find here
- Clear information about our work in disability rehabilitation, HIV/AIDS awareness and care and livelihoods and community development.
- A Get Help page for anyone who needs support for themselves or a family member.
- News and practical guides, starting with how to apply for a UDID disability card and what to expect from an HIV test.
- Ways to volunteer or donate.
What comes next
We will keep adding updates from our field work, guides on government schemes, and dates of awareness programmes. If there is a topic you would like us to write about, tell us through the contact page.
Thank you to everyone who has stood with Guardian Angel since 1991.
