World AIDS Day is observed every year on 1 December. It is a day to remember those we have lost to AIDS, to stand with people living with HIV, and to remind everyone that testing and treatment are free and that stigma still costs lives.
In the weeks before 1 December 2026, Guardian Angel is offering free awareness sessions to groups in Dimapur and nearby areas.
Who can book a session?
- High schools and higher secondary schools
- Colleges and training institutes
- Church youth fellowships and women's fellowships
- Colony and village councils, student unions and community groups
- Workplaces that want to support their staff
What we cover
Sessions usually take 45 to 60 minutes and are adjusted to the age of the group. We talk about how HIV is and is not passed on, how to protect yourself, where to get tested for free, and why people living with HIV deserve the same respect as anyone else. There is always time for questions, and people can also ask questions privately afterwards.
We keep the language simple and respectful, and we are happy to work with school principals and church leaders on the content beforehand.

Can't host a session?
